Who I Am
My name is Kyle Peffer, and have been practicing massage since 2015 as well as phase 4 Ortho Bionomy and reiki since 2011. The modalities I practice are-
Whorl and Weft Therapy-
A modality I developed from the study of how our finger prints are connected to our facial lines that extend through the whole body. I utilize your Whorl (fingerprint facial line) to release the Weft (the connected point correlating with the whorl) to gently release your knots without having to dig deep and cause deeper pain. Basically it is a gentler approach to deep tissue.
Neural Reset Therapy®-
I briefly stimulate the receptors embedded in the selected muscle by asking for a position to be held or for a movement in a particular direction. Or the I tap on a muscle in such a way as to cause receptors to send a special message to the spinal cord.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage-
A practice of massage that focuses on releasing lymphatic pressure, or blockages to restore proper flow to your lymphatic system. This is an incredible way to improve your immune system, overcome fluid retention, fight chronic/acute inflammation, increase cellular regeneration, and post op recovery (especially with joint replacement and plastic surgeries)
Myofacial Release-
A lot of the time our pain isn’t just cause by tightened muscles but also the hardening of our facia. Myofascial release focuses on opening connective tissue through slow dragging motions without lotion in an effort to open facial structures.
Trigger Point Therapy-
Much of the time when our muscles produce lactic acid without cleaning it out property we get crystalline masses that harden in our muscular tissue impinging motion. Trigger point therapy seeks to crush those little crystals to restore flow.
Ortho Bionomy-
Through gentle positioning and movement the Ortho-Bionomy Practitioner along with the client will find positions that take tension off of the proprioceptors involved. While resting in a 'neutral' position proprioceptors have the opportunity to reorganize and reset. The relationship and communication that take place through the nervous system, between the various structures, become apparent as the self-corrective reflexes stimulate observable changes in muscles, tissue, and movement patterns. Functionality and well-being improve as the body begins to let go of the limiting patterns of holding, and integrates new information with increased range of motion and better circulation.
Reiki-
A Japanese healing technique that focuses on manipulating energy flow in the body to promote healing and well-being. It involves gentle touch, and the practitioner aims to clear energy blockages and restore balance within the recipient's body. Reiki practitioners believe that by channeling "universal life energy," they can support the body's natural healing abilities.
